He replied, “I would not precede the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and his family),” who s ay on a journey at the time.

When the Prophet (may Allah bless him and his family) returned, he s asked to name her. He replied, “I would not precede my Lord, the Almighty.” Thereupon, Gabriel descended and conveyed to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and his family) a message from Allah, the Most Exalted, saying, “Name this newborn Zaynab, for Allah has chosen this name for her.”

Gabriel then informed him of the calamities that would befall her. The Prophet wept and said, “Whoever weeps over the suffering of this daughter will be like one who weeps over the suffering of her two brothers, al-Hasan and al-Husayn (peace be upon them).”

The Muslim forces advanced until they reached the outskirts of al-Balqa, where they encountered the forces of Heraclius, consisting of Romans and Arab allies, in a village called Masharif. The Muslims then moved to another village known as Mu'tah, where they organized their army into right and left flanks before the two sides engaged in fierce combat.

Gabriel would come to her, offer her comfort over her father's passing, console her, inform her about her father and his station, and tell her what would come to pass among her descendants. Ali (peace be upon him) would write these accounts down.”
